Hey there classic car owners! I know some of the members here have classics in the garage and likely insure them with Hagerty or another company, so I'm interested in hearing about your premiums (if you care to share them) and your restrictions.
My Trans Am just turned 25 and is now elligible for insurance. My quote from Hagerty has a guaranteed value of $7,000 and an annual cost of $376 (with the addition of 50 miles of towing). Pretty sweet.

However, the brochure isn't very specific about the restrictions and priviliges. Before I pull the trigger, can you guys give me a ball park idea of what to expect?

Internet research is showing ~5-7k miles a year, and as long as you aren't using the car as a daily driver they'll cover most instances.

I'm also looking for good experiences with Hagerty or other carriers that you may have- or have had in the past.

Did you talk to Greg? I think he's the guru in this area.

LOVE Hagerty.

They're one of tehe few companies that realizes you can only drive one car at a time, and their rates reflect it.

Here ya go: Hagerty Classic Insurance
