Crap...not only is he one of my favorite drivers, but it was Nissan!

Luckily he and his co-driver are OK, but it sounded like he had a good chance of winning the rally for Nissan.

Yeah. To make matters worse, it looks like he's not going to have a WRC ride this season. It looks like the deal he was working with Skoda fell through. I'm sure he'll be driving somewhere, just not sure what. Maybe Colin will be spotted driving in a Nascar series!

yeah the wreck looked pretty bad. The cab doesnt look to bad but look at the rest of the truck. Im glad he is okay and hope his sight comes back to normal.

How scary would that be if you lost your sight for 10 minutes. I would freak out

Wow...that looks nasty. I believe the article said that the accident happened on a jump at about 70mph, so I suppose they're lucky it wasn't a lot worse.

I hope his sight comes back to normal too...he's a really fun driver to watch. It sucks to have Richard Burns down and out...hopefully Colin will be back in action soon.

Good to see that he is doing well, his injuries could have been a lot worse.

When I found out he wasn't going to have a car this season, I was not a happy man. That'd be interesting indeed, Colin McRae driving in a Nascar series. I don't think he'd like the oval tracks much.

I was just kidding about the Nascar thing. I'm sure he'll be driving something, but I agree about the oval track. Maybe he can somehow get in a privateer car for the 2005 WRC season...maybe.
