You didn't mention what year your G is but if you do a search there have been circuit board issues with some of the earlier G35s. It sounds like you may have a cold solder joint on a circuit board in the stereo? If the vehicle is new under warranty take it back to the dealer for a replacement under warranty.Money7 wrote:hello everyone... i am new to this site and i just wanted to know if anyone is having or had any similar problems with their g35's during the cold weather....
i live in minnesota... so you gotta expect it to be cold... but recently.. the past couple of days have been around 10 to 15 degrees and when i start up my car... everything seems to work fine EXCEPT the sound of the stereo.... it stays silent for about 20 mins or so... and then the sound actually comes on... i'm wondering if it's due to the extreme cold... or that it just takes that much time to warm up and the sound will come back on...
if anyone has a good answer or has experienced this... please let me know...
thanks for taking your time to read this....
sorry....didn't mention the year of the car....i have a 2005 g35 coupe ATtelcoman wrote:

so under warranty.... what would need to be fixed?... or the dealer ship will know what i'm talking about once i bring the car in??...G_whizz wrote:Should still be under warranty... take her back!
Welcome to NICO BTW! Congrats on the ride!
thanks for your help and input.... it is greatly appreciated...G_whizz wrote:No worries... that's why we're her my friend. I'm not a stereo wizard by any means though.
Put it this way, if it's still under warranty, doesn't matter really what it is as long as it's fixed right? The dealership should be able to isolate and fix the prblem.
Maybe someone here can chime in who is more audio saavy then me
Anyone else want to throw their $0.02 cents in??
