I can do glanced at that thread and it even looked confusing to me. The most common cold start problem I run into on nissan and I run into this one a lot. The plug to the head temperature sender gets corroded and the sender gets in poor shape, this is the red one that is on the water inlet on the side of the head ops at the crank angle sensor unplug it see if it's corroded and nasty, if it is replace the sensor and the plug, may cure you stalled or the connections on the plug. This is a hard problem the fan but it sure has made a lot of them hard starting.
