Hello all,
I have a 2002 2.4 liter Altima. It takes 2 or 3 attempts to get my car to run continuously when I 1st start it in the morning. It also has a flat spot in the acceleration until the car warms up. The problem appears to be getting worse. There are no codes being thrown. Anyone have ideas what could cause this?
Thanks!
ED.

I would start by checking the spark plugs. If you have oil in the tubes that will cause starting issues. Check the spark plugs and don’t over look the boots. Look for evidence of spark traveling thru the boot. Clean the mass air flow sensor. Can you hear the fuel pump prime? Try to prime the pump 3 times before starting. As far as a flat spot in the accelerator do you mean when you slowly push down it looses signal and falls down to idle? Does it do this in drive?
