Cold Start Idle/Normal Idle Issue??

I have a 1990 Dual Cam swapped 240sx. Running a AUTO Ecu with a dual tps hookup with one connecter unhooked.
So my car idles at about 900 and whenever I cold start the car it remains at 900 aswell, isn't it sopposed to be higher ? I don't notice the car run funny at all but shouldnt that idle be higher them come down when its warmed up? Could that be an issue with having a auto ecu and not running a tps ?

I would think not having the tps would cause the idle to actually be higher... but I'm not sure.

Does it run rough? Or are you just wondering about the intended function and why yours is different? And yes, normal operation is to run at a higher RPM for a minute or so.
