ok here is what I am so far...my car runs great once warmed up and eveyrthing.. as long as on WOT, due to the o2 sensor is not being hooked up. partial throttle runs like butt, but .. anyway. here is my question.I am reading thruw the FSM and cold start trouble shooting section as well as idle speed. ok ,, my car does not speed up idle at all when its cold.. wont idle. bugging.. I checked the water temp sensor, engine is running and disconnect it.. and it die.. I guess that means the sensor is working.. I didnt check the resistance between but. I checked the AAC valve as well. same result. and I disconnected the FICD solenoid , it wont do anything.. does it supports to do anything? I havent not check the air regulator.. I know when its cold , it supports to open and let the air in and once warmed up , it goes to small hole and such.. can I use the KA24 air regulator? any year will work?lasty, my o2 sensor, it is generic bosch 3 wire o2 sensor, one black, two white.black is signal wire, which should hook up to blue wire, and whites are 12V and grounds, I dont think it does matter which gets 12V or ground. well if I hook up the 02.. runs like crap, but if I disconnected it , it run great on WOT but not on partial throttle, which is close- open loop operations. could it be my o2 sensor might be bad? let me know what you guys think.. and sorry to be long but thank you for all of your help

hmm, the o2 sensor can be had for about 30 bucks at any auto parts store, just ask for one from a de, but make sure they give you the one with 3 wires. autozone did that, so i went to advance and they seemed to have the right part.

did you see if the aacv was stuck? its a very common problem, mine was stuck so the car wouldnt run well at idle. i just took a screwdriver, some wd40 and some lithium grease to it and it works about 75% now, which is good enough for a smooth, 1200rpm idle when cold.

im not quite sure which air regulator you can use, might want to check both the ca18de and the ca18et. i know i had to get a new one, but it was so long ago that i dont remember which car i got it from. i would take it to an auto parts store and see if you can find a similar one. the old crossover thread is at http://www.ca18det.org and you might be able to find it there.

sorry i was so useless yesterday. hopefully i wont do it again, haha

hey, the thing i was thinking of last night was the pressure regulator control solenoid valve. it looks like if it isnt working, you may not be getting the right amount of power to the aacv or 02 sensor. thats why i said to check the voltage on it.

the FICD solenoid valve compensates for changes in idle speed caused by the operation of the air compressor - FSM. its basically the thing that makes your engine idle a little higher when you hit the a/c button. i would check it, but i dont think its significant.

if the air regulator and aacv are alright, i dont know what to tell you. maybe you have a stuck injector or something? if that were the case it would be way to rich at idle but would be getting plenty of fuel in the top end, so it runs fine there. ill let you know if i think of anything...
