Guys,

Cold idle is at 2600 RPM and when warm varies between 700-1400 and sometimes dies.

I know the cold idle is always higher but how do you bring this down?

are you guys having any performance problems such as misfiring/hesitation? if so check your timing and tps. if not clean your iacv and adjust the idle screw on the iacv..if that doesnt fix the problem you might need a new one all together.

TPS & IACV adjusted.

Will check timing.

Anything else that can be checked/adjusted to bring down cold air idle?

im curious to know if you guys are having any performance problems as well? if not then there is a part on your engine called the idle air regulator which is what causes your idle to be so high after a cold start...maybe ..just maybe this could be the problem but i doubt it as they do not go bad often and probably would cause a low cold idle if gone bad. check your ecu for codes that will help
