I ran a search but didn't find anything on a cold idle, looking for a little help. I have a 87 Pathfinder and when I start it in the morning it idles up to 2000 rpm. I think this is faster than what it should be. It takes at least 5 minutes for it to warm up enough for the idle to come down, even if it is warm outside. After that it idles around 700 rpm. Anyone else have this problem? Could it be just some minor adjustments? I cleaned out the TB and all the linkage, nothing appears to be sticking.

Warmed up idle around 750 RPM, cold at above 1500, setting should be dropped but check coolant temp sensor, it raises RPM, but keep upper speed at around 1500-1600, when ambient warm cold engine will run at around 1500 then 20-3- seconds start dropping. At mid temp on gauge should be at 750.
