Sorry, I wasn't trying to fish.
here is what I had:
That orange wire is important! The ecu register for "ignition start" does not click to "on" if you don't have this wired up. Before my car took several attempts to start before it would run when cold. Now it starts right up. I think it is telling the fuel pump to pressurize the lines.

Orange wire is your choke.
Other info:
in the 240sx FSM wiring diagram, I think I found the connector I am talking about labeled as "F1" on ECU side and "M53" on harness side.Orange goes to the "Ignition Switch On or Start"
Goes to pin 43 on the rb ecu plug.
This helped me a lot (the rb side anyhow)

connector "P" in the diagram pin "b". Diagram says its black and yellow.I just spliced the orange wire into this wire. I didn't have to do anything down by the ecu.
