cold air trouble

ive been researching the forums and installs pages but have yet to find the answer to my question. i installed the cold air intake on my 240 and cranked it p and rove it a few feet, but had forgotten to reconnect the ECU. (retarded i know) i reset the ecu as the install instruction required, but even after that the car still hardly idles and spudders terribly. any ideas?

You forgot to connect the ecu or just the maf?Check all the vacumme connections to the cold air kit, prolly have a leak somewhere. Otherwise the ecu may need some time to adjust itself to the new intake.
