i am getting a z32 n/a soon and i plan on modifiying it. i was looking at engine pics and i notice that there are two different air intakes to the manifold. i was wondering how a cold air intake would feed into both? and info would be great. thanx.

most guys just pull out the airfilter box and slap the K&N filter on infront of the air filter and leave the original intake tubes.

Yep - JWT sells a single cone intake that connects to the stock MAF before the split that then goes to each throttle body. Also, the Z32 already has a "cold air" intake stock, since the intake filters and MAF are outside the engine bay. A JWT Pop Charger cone intake will still get you a few ponies on an NA though.

since the pipes dont connect till farther down, if i do buy cold air intake, does the kit come with enough piping to feed into both intakes?

Both throttle bodies are fed through the single MAF, which the JWT Pop Charger bolts directly on to. If you pop off your center panl, you should be able to see a better idea of how the piping runs.

Well if I had an N/A Z I'd go with an Injen intake, Stillen headers, and BRM cat back. Im not sure about the headers though, but Id get it if I were going to stay N/A.

So does this sound like a good setup for the N/A? Any opinions?

i have learned tons of stuff about putting mods onto a 300zx. here is what i plan on doing, but it will take a long time because the gas (just went up to $2 here for 91 octane, stupid gas prices) and insurance and car payment will take a lot of my money. but anyways, first i was going to get a jwt pop charger, then get a borla true-dual exhaust system, and then get stillen ceramic coated headers. all that will run me $1500. but i will probably order the pop charger the first day i get my z because i found one at ultimatez.com for $90!!!!

I hear ya on that. Well I think Ill stick to the mods I listed above. The only reason I wont get a turbo is b/c of the insurance and gas prices. Ill worry bout a turbo car or a TT conversion later on down the line. Gotta get the Z first though.
