Once I get my wheels I am looking to get some other things for my car such as the Intake.

On VersaSpeed they offer the AEM and the Fujita systems. The AEM one is more expensive than the Fujita intake, but I am wondering which one gives the best performance rather than basing my decision on price.

Anyone got these?

A lot of your questions can be answered by searching.

But from everything I've seen the intakes are basically the same, therefore I'd go with the cheaper one.

Me being in CA would go with the AEM because it is carb legal.

thats a conservative number to say the least, would you spend that same money toward a few more MPG? it is easily achieved with good driving habits, so over the course of a few months wouldnt it pay for its self?

anyways, i have the fujita and absolutely love it! great sound and i gotta say those 3hp really make a difference when trying to get upto highway speeds and while passing on the freeway.... i say go for it, either one will do a fine job...

I went AEM because of the dryflow filter and the CARB legal factor.

You guys forget it's 5 HP and 6 TQ. And Skunk's right the extra MPG pays for itself.

It's all good. I don't have any money for it right now cause I just got my lowering springs and rainguards that are shipping to me right now. But when I get some more money I will deff look into it if its still up for grabs.

I'd personally go with AEM. You can't go wrong with them and they make the best CAI, plus it's CARB legal. You pay for what you get.

Those are not for right now. The only things I am getting right now is lowering springs, and my underbody kit. Once I save up a little more money I'm gonna get new wheels and the CAI probably.

I just want to know what my options are so when I have the money I will be able to get all the things I want instead of having to wait and ask questions. :D

So has anyone else noticed that with a upgrade intake the Versa seems to lose a little lower end power. We were experimenting with different Intake designs and the most common problem we ran into was this. It was loader on the lower end, but slower too. On the plus side, we got a huge increase in power on top end/highway speeds. We were think it was because the intake piping is too large for such a little set up, so you need the air coming in at highway speeds to maximize the use of a larger pipe.

Did any of you notice this with your AEM's and Fujita's?

Has anyone looked into the NISMO edition CAI? I haven't seen any pictures and don't remember it listed on versaspeed.com.

I'm HARDLY ever above 3,000 RPM.. would this just be a waste of money for me to get this since I'm mostly in the low RPM range?

Usually the Nismo CAIs are relabeled AEM CAIs, though seems like they cost about the same.

Probably the same without the CAI, just more deep and throaty.
