Come on Doc, give the guy some break. He found the intake from this site and wanted to share the news with fellow forum members, personally I don't see anything wrong with it.It is not like he made it up. If this site is legit or not, or if the intake is the correct one or not, how can anyone guarantee that?rjdmmfl1 wrote:

If you look, it says new part added 08/20/07.... the real Injen intakes didn't become availble until february 2008...
IN the future, do your research before you post stuff like this, because if it turms out to be incorrect, you may get
You just might be on to something - here is the picture of the CAI listed for the G35.rjdmmfl1 wrote:

this is the thing, if i start a post saying.. "extreme dimensions is now selling a body kit for the A/C," and i reference an ad in a magazine, with a price listed... its still gonna come back to me if it turns out to be bogus... a little research and knowledge of the layout of one's own engine bay will show you that there is little to no room to put a cold air intake in the A/C.... there's just no room for the pipes! but more importantly, me knowing the layout of my engine bay, its clear to me from the picture that that intake doesn't fit the position of the throttle body of the A/C...desertdragon wrote:

Dear Doc, I see your point but let's agree to disagree. This is in fact a car enthusiasts' site where we all come seeking car related knowledge, news, etc. However you have to take into account that since this is a public open forum, you will get all kind of people with diffrerent degree of experience and knowledge and all want to contribute (and this is a good thing):1. Newbies (me included) come here seeking to learn more about their cars and learning the ropes in the modding arena.2. Experts (you and Adidas comes to mind) that have been in the modding scene longer than us, come here to share your knowledge and learn some more.rjdmmfl1 wrote:

this is a car enthusiast's site right? I thought it was and maybe that's why I assumed everyone here has at least opened their hood and looked at their engine bay!
true indeed , i see your point... i tend to forget that sometimes...desertdragon wrote:

Because of everyone's experience and knowledge background, our contributions to the forum will be different in level and relevance, but at the end of the day, we all want to help. Isn't this the purpose of forum like this one? Experts will share their knowledge with the newbies, and the newbies can share the good deals they find for our cars.
If not, then we would have to create other sub-forums like: a) Forum for Altima coupe experts and b)Forum for NewbiesDo we need that?
Sorry for the long rant...Peace and love
