I have a 93 240sx and I am trying to replace the air intake with a OBX style cold air intake. The stock intake has 3 vacuum hoses attached to the factory intake tube. The OBX has only 2 ... what is a solution for the vacuum hoses??? OH ... dont let me forget the hose that is attached to the air box ... so that makes four ...

I went a head and removed mine ;) Didnt throw any codes or anything. Just get like a drain plug at Home Depot to screw into the whole left at the header.

Well that kills one of the lines ... how about the other line that is left over??? The OBX air intake has two fittings and the factory intake has three???

One should be a PCV, you can put a breather on that too, if not, get some 'T's' for hoses and do it that way.

yeah you can put a breather on it. there isnt even a valve in mine. just a little pipe cleaner looking thing. really you dont have to put anything on it, but a catch can is cool.you probably blew the gasket because the breather got cloged or it just had too much resistance to start with.

I gave up and I am now looking to get an INJEN intake ... never buy an intake from EBAY ever again ...

I emailed the seller and he emails back saying that he has a set of AEM instructions that might help ... I ask myself whay do I need AEM instructions for an OBX intake???

Stay away from ebay intakes ... I took the intake to a welder and he said that just by looking the intake would not work and it would cost me 50 to 60 for adjustments. Since then I have went looking for T-Valves and none fit or if they did then they were too small for the hoses. It is hopeless ... I have to take a loss on this.
