Cold Air intake story...

So as most of you know AEM's CAI was defective as it did not fit right. Does anybody know what's going on with other companies building intakes or even when AEM will redesign the part? I know some people already have intakes in their car so I'm pitching the thought out to anybody that knows.

truthfully AEM intake shouldnt have been out YET. so what ever intake you or someone else might have bought, it wasnt AEM. i know they dont release a product unless it fit correctly. and i believe they arent expect to start shipping until feb. i could be wrong.

I just picked up my Versa from AEM yesterday. The part is officially redesigned to fit. They still need to put it into production however. I beleive they are putting a rush on this so as too get the corrected part on the market.

A little by the way, AEM is looking for a six speed Versa in the Socal area to put on their dyno for the official results of this intake (mine is a cvt which won't give an accurate reading due to gearing). If you have a six speed and can kill half a day sitting at AEM email me for details. You will get a free intake out of the deal. My email is [email protected] .
