I searched my brains out, even on K&N's website and can't find drop in air filters for the 2007 Z. Are there any?

Also, are there any silencers in the stock airboxs? I've taken my filters out and couldn't see any. Just wondering. I took out all the silencer crap out of my RX-8's air box and it made an amazing difference in the sound.

I really don't want to spend $$$ on an aftermarket intake. Any ideas on how to improve the growl without spending hundreds of bucks?

Right now there are no oem replacement filters for the 07. I went with the Stillen CAI system and really like it. It really makes an aggressive sound over stock.
