Cold Air Intake on '01 Sentra

Hi, has anyone installed or has gotten a cold air intake installed in their 2000 or 2001 sentra? Its seems as though the battery is too large and blocks the path for the cold air tubing. I'm sure that removing the stock airbox will make for a little room, but I'm not sure if that'll be enough to put in the full cold air unit. If I could settle for the short ram I would, but I'd rather be able to install the full cold air and get more power.

Injen makes one. I have it. Easy install. No issue with the battery, and it actually slides in the tray if you need to move it over.

I havea bigger battery than stock in my car and a $35 ebay intake fit fine all i have to do was drill holes in the air flow adaptor to fit it to my mass air flow meter. Fit's fine even room for a air bypass valve if you so desire.

I believe that injen has discontinued the RD1965p version cold air intake for the 01 sentra 2.0L, I dont know if thats what you have on ur car or not but i cant seem to get one new. I attempted to order an aem cold air intake made for the 01 sentra 2.0L and it was also discontinued by aem. I cannot seem to find a cold air intake that is made for my year sentra. Do you know if the rd1964p injen intake made for the 97-99 sentra 2.0L would fit on my car b/c it is made for the sr20de? If not can you refer me to an intake that will fit onto my car?

I'll take a look. The Sentra engine bay didn't change much from 95-99 to 00-06, so it'll probably fit, but let me double check that and post up again. It may also be that the SE-R/Spec V intake may fit.

Yes, a B14 CAI will work on a B15, and vice versa.
