Hi all:

Your opinion plz: I am thinking of installing a Cold air intake to my G37S coupe. I am wondering whether this will void the Manufacture Warranty from Nissan/Infiniti.

When I spoke to the dealer, they told me that it will void the warranty if this cold air intake to cause any issues with the engine etc. So would there be any issues by installing a Cold air intake by stillen?

If a problem occurs with your car that is DIRECTLY related to your MOD. Then it will not be covered.

However, if your power seat stops working they can't blame it on your intake modification.

Make sense?

i would suggest away from the cold air intakes for the G. a couple people had engine damage from water. just get the stillen gen 2 intake the long tube not the gen 3. plus the cold air are not a direct fit, you need to cut a couple things in your front bumper need to take it off and so on. i dont know how far you want to go with a install for a intake. the gen 2 takes 20 mins and the cold air takes 2 hours. its just not worth it.

I used the JWT pop chargers on my G37, they looked better to me and have the venturi sysem. They are supposedly gauranteed not to have hydolock problems. You do have to trim a little plastic, but otherwise an easy fit. Asked dealer and they said no issues with warranty unless you screw something up.
