using a CAI shouldnt void the warranty.... i guess worst case scenario if your going to take your car in for service just throw the factory box back in...

I installed the Injen CAI and the Murano performance was very noticable. I used the full system not the RAM one.

Also from AEM I installed the Valve so if the filter goes under water the valve opens and no water goes to my Air Flow sensor neither the engine.

I will post a photo tomorrow

nismomurano: well the whole purpose of the CAI is get cold air for the engine so i don't see why this whould be a problem in winter. i didn't have any trouble with mine is all.

A CAI will not void your warranty. It will only make your murano that much more fun to drive. I hope that you are also prepared to make your murano a hell of alot noisier than it used to be. Here's a pic of mine and you can also check out my CAI post.

Well People I went Ballistic..... After running 6 months with my Injen CAI I decided to go better and I installed the KINETIX intake with the NissanWorks Phenolic Spacers here is the link to the pictures.... You will see the CAI alone with the original intake, then the EBC braking system and last the install of the Kinetix Intake. It took me about 6 hours to do the change but because I took a lot of pracuations so nothing went trough the intake ports. Also the were 2 bolts on the rear of the original Intake that gave me hell to take them out because of their location and the space to work with it.

Enjoy....

rmontanez, where did you get your kinetix intake from? i found the companies actual site but I didn't see anything that is specifically for the Murano. from everything i've read our engine is just a detuned 350z engine, would be nice to get it back up to where it ought to be power wise.
