Cold Air Intake and the Warranty

I've been looking into getting the Ingen short ram intake for my 3.5 coupe, but I was wondering if it will void the warranty of the car?

the intake is a bolt on. i doubt it would void the warranty anyways, but if it did it would not take long to re-install the stock intake to take it back for warranty.

The only thing it voids is the warranty on your air intake....The mossberg act protects you in this...

If your Injen falls off and you suck leaves into the engine, thats a different story.. But if your alternator breaks or your headlights dont work etc its still covered...

THEY HAVE TO PROVE THAT THE AFTERMARKET PART caused the failure, so the only thing that you are voiding is the intake warranty... although you can always switch it back.

Thanks LongBeach, that makes sense. I was worried that it would void the whole engine warranty, which is something I really didn't want to do.

dont listen to what? i said if it does void the warranty, before taking it back to the dealer re-install the stock one."although you can always switch it back."im pretty sure that is you repeating the same thing... so what wouldnt he listen to?

No, 04 Hofstra grad... but during... jeez.. I think 2003, there was a huge snowstorm and I was stuck there for a week (was only supposed to be 3 days)... I was with a friend staying in a guestroom of the Tri-Delt house! We had a really good time...
