Cold Air Intake 2003 Maxima SE

So, I want to do a cold air intake on my 2003 Maxima SE (V6 3.5L). What brands are the best bang for my buck? I know that K & N are always good, but are there any off-brands that work just as well?

Waste of money. Just get a good K&N filter and some pipes from Home Depot and you can do it yourself. It might look like a lot of work but its not. Total cost about $60-70 compared to $350 for an Injen CAI.

That should help you a little bit that was just a quick search the first is about intakes and the second is how to install the injen CAI if you decide to fab one yourself the latter should help with placement etc. I have a berk technology intake with apexi filter and i love it. worth the money probably not but it gives your car a nice growl and i get better gas mileage if i stay off the pedal. There are a bunch of people on here with custom intakes and a few with intakes from reputable companies. One thing is that if you buy an intake from a company they usually come with directions on how to install them so you dont have to trouble shoot different things.

Go with an injen cai I have one for my 2k2 and I love it probably no hp increase but it sounds great plus I get 20% better mpg now I got mine from this site $272+ free shipping its the cheapest I found anywhere.
