It has been raining a but here in cali. and I was wondering what you guys were using when you drive in the rain. Is there some kind of shield that is made? Also what do you guys prefer cold air intake of the turbo or just the filter coming of the turbo? Hope that makes sense.

First of all only way your going to have only a filter on the turbo, is if you are running blow through setup or a map sensor. Second of all my filter goes all the way down by the cross member it has been raining like a mad man here the last two days and still no problems. And third of all your IC loves it when there is cool water going right at it at high speeds, thats why they invented intercooler sprayers.

I'm pretty sure the first part of the question means he's wondering if sucking up rain water will damage anything. Which is a good question. If you drive through a wash and suck up a large amount of water, then yes, you're fvcked. But otherwise you'll be fine.

As far as the other question, I think you're asking if we like a cold air setup or a simple filter under the hood setup. I prefer a nice cold air setup myself. The hot under hood air is not good at all. So keep the filter out of the engine bay if you can.

Also, re-read your posts after you make them. You mis typed alot of stuff and it is hard to understand what you mean.
