There's nothing wrong with washing your car when it's nearly freezing, right? I just washed mine, used some cheap stuff I got at target.. I work there so I get 10 percent off.. anyways it's some armorall soap/wax stuff you put in a bucket with water, and I applyed that to my car and was preaty shocked. Looked nice and shinny, I bought turtle wax, but I didn't apply that because I was so happy with the outcome, and theres still salt on the road so I'm saving it. I used this "special" 5 dollar towel/sponge type thing to dry the car and I think that made the big difference. No lint left I usually got with towels, and no swirl marks. Hows turtle wax? I'm saving it for a special occasion, whenever rain washes the salt off the road. I was going to get the zaino stuff, but the're 1 hour away from me and I didn't feel like driving there.

Oh, when I bought my car is came with continental touring tires, sized to stock SE rims, are they any good? They suck *** in snow.

EDIT: They are = "The're", not "Their" or was it "There"?

Turtle Wax is good stuff. I like their car wash and I've used their wax.

I've also done plenty of car washing whilist the ground was covered in snow and ice. I wouldn't soil my britches over doing it again.

Wow, great icon =)

Personally I think if you are gonna take the time and energy to wax it, go all out. Meguires (sp?) is the best stuff I have used yet. Goes on easily, wipes off easily. I always do a cleaner wax first, then do their gold class stuff. And if you really want to do some work, use the clay bar...made by Mothers or California somethin or other. Don't remember, just know that it works awesome if you wanna spend the time to do it.

First time I washed my car in the cold it was 28 F, and after the car wash I was completely stupid and locked my car...allowing the locks to freeze. HAHA. I was late to class boiling water to get my locks open. Other than that it was fine.
