Coins change noise.

When i drive my s13 coupe and hit a bump or hole, i can hear like a chain noise on the rear.Better describe as coin change sounds. I have no idea what can it be. I replaced my wheel bearing but still keep hearing it. Its on the rear what could it be? Only hear it when i hit bumps or holes. Sound like chain noise or Coins change.

^^^ What he said. When I bought my car it had atleast $0.85 in change in the back. I like to call it a rebate. Anyways, if nothing is back there, jack up the rear of your car a start yanking and shaking stuff to see if it's loose. Remember, if you shake it 3 times your playing with yourself.

Edit: Ahh just remembered. Our cars, much like ALL cars, comes with a scissor jack and wrench. Also if you have a hatch, they randomly have straps and buckles bolted down to the trunk. Maybe some are loose and are flying around everywhere when you hit bumps.

I agree. I found p0ker chips/ arcade coins in mine, start there then jack the car and look for loose parts

I will check my truck and see what i find. Will check for loose things on the rear suspension too.This reminds me of a thread we(crx owner) had on our community. Things found from previous owners on our crxs. I found some pills on little bangs and white powder behind the rear panels. I was like lol.

no offense but WOW you say it like thats exactly the problem lol. Has that happened to you? is it dangerous if I driver like that? I order coilovers, im just waiting for them to arrive from Japan.

haha I see well see if the noise is gone when I replace them with my coilovers. I bought the powered by Max pro coilovers for 1560 shipped. They also have the powered by max competition coilovers for 1000. My car has a rattle like that but it is just where one hanger on the exhaust is like a two finger gap too short too meet the rubber brackect and at idle it makes a change rattling like noise....Id say check for change i found 3$ and some odd amount of change in car #5 so far only like 30 cents in #6 so far and pretty sure #7 wont have any in it its been stripped down already

Haven't found the cause of it yet. Im still waiting on my coilovers to get here.

I found a bag of weed stuffed inside the little hole behind the plastic part, beside the back seats in my second car...of course i bought it fro a D-boy who gave us a nice nug of hydro with the car when we bought it so go figure
