I went with coils A. Because I knew the pro's and cons of each at 60K miles and B. I can go lower with coils and the ride is adjustable for both height and ride comfort. You might be able to get away with getting new struts and springs for the ballpark of 700 dollars. But if you're at 700 dollars, why not spend an extra 300 and get the real deal.
Now obviously there are cons to coil overs. Rough roads.... rough roads. Scraping on speed bumps. Rough roads. Scraping on slightly deep bumps in the road. Rough roads. Did I mention rough roads? But I love my coil overs and the look it gives my car. Even the service tech at the dealership complimented my car. Springs are nice, but I personally think that if you are at that mileage, and you're going to replace the struts as well, then you're already in the price bracket for coils anyway.
Now I'm running BC's which are probably the most popular on this site, but also receive a lot of flack for being Taiwanese and "not good quality". I think they are good quality for a street coil over. If you're looking for high end top quality, TEIN should definitely be looked at as well.
