Hello everybody. Ive been looking around the forum here and it looks like everything anyone could ever want about infinitis. good stuff.

Anyway, I just stuck my I30t in the shop and turns out the coil is bad. What gets me is they want $400.00 to replace one coil. Sounds like a line to me but whatever. Where do you guys buy your parts at? I'm figuring this can't be more than a hundred dollar part.

Thanks for listening to my rant. $400 my fat wrinkly butt.

You're pretty much spot on. Dealer price for the part is only $100.

Coils are pretty easy to replace. They just unscrew from the valve cover. For parts, check out http://www.everythinginfiniti.com. Give them a call and let them know you're a NICO member.

Yea coils are very easy to change, some on the backside may be a little tricky but still not a bad fix.

When changing the coils always check to see if any oil is on them.If so, you may need to change some seals

I'm looking around my garage for a camera now. I just discovered that the valve cover is leaking too.

How'd you know?

Excellent information. I didn't even think about labeling the hoses. You guys are way too helpful. Thanks again!
