if i watned to replace the stock coilpacks with new coilpacks(same dwell)
what would be my best option?

I know there are SSP (red) coilpacks for sale on Raw Brokerage, but i've read bad things about them.
There are also yellow jacket coilpacks (yellow) i've heard nothing about them
and stock replacements

which is the best option?
is there a better option?

i would really like to keep the dwell the same so i don't have to retune the ECU

Thanks

alot of people have found that the lsx coil pack conversion is all you need. from what i was told dwell increases slightly, and the car even runs a little better. Can't remember the USDM replacement, i think its the Q45 but might want to double check, otherwise the stock coil packs are efficent enough for modded Rbs.

Although it might help if i knew what Rb you have.

I can run the ls1 coilpacks w/o any changes to my ECU?

im assuming so, but again might want to double check. i was told i could, just would have to wire them in. even without a tune just a base map i can tell my car runs better on the lsx.

but i dont see why the rb20 would be any different. but then again crazier stuff happens.

The #1 and #2 coils on the q45 are the same as the RB's. The other 6 coils have different connectors.

I'm going lsx coils this winter, if I have a problem with the stockers.

I have some coilpacks for sale....12 of them actually. 6 OEM coilpacks and 6 SuperSpark coilpacks bought from Raw Brokerage for $450 less than a year ago. I'm only looking to get $225 for all 12 of them, which includes shipping. They are so cheap because one coilpack from each set of 6 is bad. I don't know which one it is and the resistance of all 12 of them are within specs when checked with a multimeter. I'm sick of trying to figure out which one is bad. SS coilpacks will come in original box and bubble wrap. These coils are plug and play, so there is no need to do any wiring. Let me know if you're interested!
