Hey i got a question about the coilpack on SR20

so i was told to check the ohm to check to see if its running properly.
well, i checked it it comes up to 2.5 Ohm on all four and the mutimeter is set at 200 Ohm. thats abit too much.
Does this mean the coilpack is no good?

Thanks

I've had wires check good but actually be bad. So I use the swaptronics method. Take the coil you think is bad, swap it with a known good one and see if the problem follows the suspected coil pack.

What terminals did you check across? FSM lists between 0.6-0.9 ohms between terminals 1 and 2 (left and center if you're looking into the coilpack) and infinite resistance between 3 and the spark plug connector. Now, if it's high, that doesn't mean it's bad. Depending on your multimeter, it can be off a bit in measuring resistance. Personally, I've never taken much stock in measuring the resistance values of the packs since they're essentially transformers. You're better off doing what WD mentioned. Test it with known working equipment and see if the problem persists. If you have a spark plug checker (it's a tool that grounds the plug to the chassis so you can watch it spark without zapping yourself), use that and you can visually ensure the pack is working or not.
