coilpack/distributor

hey this sr20det has plug wires.... and mine has coilpack... I thought sr20det have coilpacks?

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that a FWD setup?

... how you know it's a fwd?

because of whhere the throttle body is facing?

I guess it could it, I just pulled it from some site since I have coilpacks and this motor has spark plug wires

Well, if you think about it, intsalling that engine in a RWD car would be problematic..

For one the intake is facing the rear of the engine, and the ditributor would hit the firewall...

That is a FWD SR20DET, I belive it's the bluebird one because of the black valve cover. Those come with a distributor, not a coilpack type of ingnition. IF you look at heavy throttle's website, and check out the FWD SR20DETs you will know what i'm talking about.
