I recently got an s13 , and I need coilovers bad. Like most people I don't have a big budget. I'm just looking for something with good daily drivability mainly.I doubt I'll see much track time realistically. So Tein basics sound good, but I've heard nothing but bad reviews. Megan streets are what I'll probably end up going with. They're reasonably priced, have adjustable dampening, pillowball mounts, and I've heard tons of good reviews. Before everyone tells me to get stance or JIC's or something like that, I would love to, but just don't have that kind of money right now. So I'm just looking for some feedback on the situation from people with experience.

Firstly, there's been like 3 or 4 threads in the last 2 weeks regarding coilovers, but oh well! What's one more?? haha

Anyhow, I just wanted to remind you that if you get coilovers, you need some other things too so you can actually align the car. These are: adj. tension rods, adj. ruca's, and rear toe arms. Now, you might already know this and have planned for this, but just wanted to remind you that spending a ton on coilovers is only the first step.

Yes Megans will be Perfect. I used to think their quality was crap, but it turns out thier coilovers are pretty good. +1

I have Tein Basics, but I get them for $550 so I cant complain. They have held up fine for me, and personally I didnt need the dampening adjustability. Megans have been getting awesome reviews though, Id probably end up going that route if dampening was in my list of priorities.

TANABE.

they have some cheap coilovers and they're great from my experience.some are cheap for the fact that they don't come with adjustable camber plates. stance is based off of tanabe from what i hear.signal auto helped designed some of tanabe's suspension.

EDIT:tanabe is also partnered up with KYB.

It's damping, unless you are looking for coilovers that will make things damp.

LOL at looking talking about megans and damping. Everybody I have talked to who has any experience with coils knows that megan's damping is nothing to call home about.

Kts or stance.

Also, this is a repost to the max, and is in the wrong forum.
