To start off I would like to say I have searched this topic with the classic "big red" search button, but have found no satisfying results, so I am going to ask you. Are there any problems that may occur if I choose to use coilovers with my stock wheels? I hope you can help me out as you all did previously when I needed some further knowledge, thanks.

once you lower it enough, it will look like ***.no matter what.

you either need spacers or new wheels when purchasing coilovers.

it'll fit,it'll look like ****, though.

he didnt ask about what it would look like...

coilovers+stock wheels is fine..you wont have any problems.. just be sure to run "good" by good i mean grippy tires on them.. or you will have traction problems..(mountian runs etc..)but for DD.. its a-ok

you can run into lots of problems depending on what u do.

I recently installed coilovers and had about 2finger gap up front and 3 in the back...no problems.

slammed it (finger fuking tight in all coners) ended up rubbing the inner fender liner sh1t. and started eating the wiring harness. But that was all fixed bu moving the wire harness into the fender.

so it all depends on what u wanna do. if u wanna slam it u need to get a frend and pull of ur front bumper and fenders and move the harness up and out of the fender well as flatten the sharp metal edge inside the fender well.

here are some pics of my car.

the day i put them on

and how she sits now

Its even less than this now..lol

P.S. if u slammed u will scrap ur cat and exhaust( aftermarket one)

I had mine lowered with coilovers on stock wheels. It looks a little silly but it was alright.

yea i can def agree on that. once u get to the slamming stages and the camber becomes a big part it looks silly...but if u leave it a decent height it l0oks pretty good.

Thanks everyone for your quick responses, but does anyone have a picture showing stock hubcaps w/ coilovers (maybe even a red S13), thanks again.

i think looking liek **** is actually a problem.

other than stupid fast tire wear and un-necessary stress to multilinks, you'll be fine
