I know a couple of people that use them on their S14, they go low and ride fine. But for track days, I wouldn't count on them lasting a long time.

I myself have Fortune Autos, they are one of the best entry level coilovers for the money. If going low is what you want, get the new PBM pros. FA front coilovers don't go low unless you trim down the lower bracket or flip the bracket (it adds positive camber though). Stance/PBM pros (not the gold ones)/FA would be your best bang for your buck.

Add swift springs to any of those and they will be great for DD.

Here are the rears, they can go plenty low.

PBM competition coilovers will be fine for u and go mad low, pros are 1300? But worth it. Thats what I have n love em. If your friend had those coilovers on his civic then he doesnt know much about suspension. Most everyone that knows about suspension are running konis with ground control on their hondas, best suspension. Yes I have those on my Crx.
Here check this out the PBM link

PBM FTW
4 year warranty, if u have a blown shock they sell one for 100! cant beat that. Also the front has already -2 cambe, because the mounting holes are drilled to give u-2. So thats badass right there. And only 1000 for competition. You cant ask for more.
