I am going to start building up a s13 soon, and am looking to to coilovers. I Will be doing so occasional tracking, but mostly just Daily driving. I was looking at these coilovers. http://www.andysautosport.com/....html Are these alright? Any suggestion?

God damn this is getting annoying. Use the motherf**ckin search button and search "tein coilovers". This has been covered way too many times.

Yes they are "alright"

They will lower the car and make it more stiff.

Enjoy.

Tein basics and "track" should not be in the same sentence. They aren't meant for the tracks, more so for a daily.

For starters, Andysauto isn't always the cheapest, and they carry a lot of rice and low-end crap. Those coil-overs can be found for about $900 to $950 with a lot of the listed sponsors.

Most people tend to go with Stance, which runs $1100, or Megan Street which is $900.

Also, if you plan on lowering the car and don't want crazy wear on your tires, you will need adjustable Traction/Tension rods for the front, and rear toe arms. This is so the car can be properly aligned. (at least this is what I was told by my import shop)

Your best bet is to do more research on 240sx suspension set ups before you purchase anything because suspension parts work together.

For instance I have Kazama rear links, Kazama tension rods, Tein tie rods, and KW coilovers. If you just get coilovers you will not be able to utilize them to their full ability.

I know on 240sx you must replace the tension rods because they are terrible.
