I am building an LS6 based 95 240. The ending HP should be between 450 and 500. The car will be a daily driver, but will see very occasional quarter mile and autocross racing. I was looking at some coilovers, and was wondering if these are any good. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

I really like the adjustability factor. Any halp is appreciated. Thanks!

So these sren't that great? Will they at least get the job done for basic daily driving? If not, what would you recommend?

You are telling me you have money for the LS6, yet you can't even buy good coilovers?

I did use the search button and read each thread. They were all F/S threads for the item with no real review. Why not just answer the question instead of being difficult.

I was very fortunate with the LS6. I got it with 1500 miles for less than an LS1.

Most of my build is being sponsored, but I only have so much money left, so I am trying to be frugal. I am not looking to buy useless parts, but really do not know much about the available options. That is of course why I asked the question on this forum. Posts with smart answers, and statements about the cheap nature of the coilovers don't really help, especially without some suggestions of better options. There are 10 replies here, and only 1 gave me any helpful suggestions. I don't really get the sinicism. $800 does not seem all that cheap anyways.

I am just trying to make quality, yet cost effecient decisions regarding this build. Any help pointing me in the right direction is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Just remember: 95% of people discussing one particular coilover don't know what they're talking about. I've found that a lot of people repeat hearsay and "I read on the internet..." sort of thing.

If you're considering Ksports, find someone who has them in their car and go for a ride. Then call Ksport and talk to someone. Read internet blabber all you want, but keep an open mind and make up your own decision. There's a LOT of options out there for the 240sx. You've got your work cut out in trying to find the right one for you. I'd recommend than you not write-off used coilovers either. It might be better to get something that's blown out for cheap and getting them rebuilt. A lot of motorcycle shops can rebuild automotive coilovers.

Just my opinion on the matter.

fyi... the link I provided even has a ksport representative come in and try to defend their product... it's a very good read... all 4 pages of it. It has technical graph comparisons between quality dampers comparing to ksports. I highly suggest reading it..

I agree, it's a good read. I've read it twice. I forgot to mention to read the whole thing.
