so in a few weeks i plan on ordering megan streets and rota grids 16x8 +10. i have no experience with coilovers or suspension arms at all. i heard that when going to coilovers i will need to replace some of the stock suspension arms, so basically what i am asking is: What will I need?

PS: i searched but didnt find an answer, my search skills pwn me!

The links I think you refer to would be thr rear upper control arm (ruca), possibly the rear toe link, and eventually the t/c rods up front. Depending on the amount of drop, these links will allow you to maintain stock, or custom foot settings (alignment specs). This will in turn allow your tires to live long happy lives or allow you to squeeze in something that shouldnt fit (wide rubber, wrong wheel offsets, gangster dubs). The more aggressive the drop, even with camber adjustment, the rear will tend to toe out (bad thing for tire life, good thing if you have the appropriate driving skills) So consider how low you plan to go, what your tire budget is, and whether or not you will adjust regularly or set and forget.

the drop i am considering would be about 2- 2.5 inches. i plan on running 205/40/16 front and 225/45/16 rear.do you think i can maintain stock alignment specs with those sizes?the car will be my daily driver but will also see some track use so adjustability will be a must. btw what are t/c rods?

t/c = tension control rods.

Running a staggard tire setup on all around wheels is stupid. Don't do it, it doesn't make sense.

You don't need anything really, but adjustable ruca and tc rods would be a good start.

The rear will toe in with increased drop. On a RWD car, toe out in the rear is NEVER a good thing. If you need rear toe-out to get your car to turn in, there is something seriously wrong with your front geometry.
