When i bought my car it came with a set of the lowest end jic magic coilovers on it and the front 2 are completely blown. I was ridding on the springs pretty much. The back 2 squeak but still have pressure and feel ok. The pillowbal is bad on one front too. Now my question is, should i bother rebuilding them or do something else. I have a hookup at k sport and i could get some middle grade for 775 a set. Any imput would be awesome. Thankss

nobody around me runs k sport and i dont hear much positive stuff about them

i guess it would depend on the application

if you drift and you need it to drift really well...kts, psm, stance gr+PRO, occasionally ill see a megan track or street out there or a tein super drift

Sell them on eBay to some JDM fanboi for $900, use the profits to buy a brand new set of Megans.

They did.

Megan Tracks are waaaay too harsh for daily use. Get the Megan Streets instead. Although Stance are better. But if you're considering spending $1500 on coilovers, you may want to try the new Megan Spec RS's for about $1300.

BTW, those prices you quoted for those Megan Tracks/Streets and Stance coils are way too high. Megan Street & Tracks should e around $800 and Stance GT+ should be around $1200. Check NICO's Advertiser's specials...

Well 800 sounds alot better but i heard that the steet ones had alot of flex for drifting. But i dont want to be breaking my back because this is a daily driver. Where can i get the megan sponsor hookup?

:spitout: Keep dreaming homie. Companies don't really sponsor noobs. They put their money behind ppl who have already proven themselves with already built cars. They ain't trying to finance your start-up project. Just hunt around for the cheap prices like the rest of us.

If you wait till Labor Day & Tax Free Weekend, I bet a whole bunch of vendors will start slashing prices and having sales. Prices always go even lower around holidays.

Gotta learn to search a little bit, man. I do three things when looking for the best prices on car parts:

1) Check Google shooping & sort by lowest price.
2) Hit the Advertisers sections on NICO or Zilvia & look for sales.
3) Drop by my local shops/garages & see if they can beat online prices.

I absolutely REFUSE to pay full retail price for anything. There's no reason to. I mostly don't buy used either. There's always some little hookup out there.
