coilovers help!

so just bought an s13 with d2 rs coilovers on it. i was about to adjust the dampening but im missing something. its the top knob. can i do anything about this or am i not gonna be able to adjust?

oh, one other thing. my car seems to be making clunking sounds from corners of the car whenever i go over humps. could this be something wrong with my coilovers? i read about some recall on these coilovers.

any advice helps thanks
