Yeah, took me about 2mo to get my bumper and fenders for my S14.5. I never had a problem calling them by phone. Yet, it did take forever to get an update and tracking since when I ordered they were out of stock and the container from VS hadn't even left Japan.

Once, the container arrived in the states I finally got a tracking number. Sucks that it wasn't marked on the site as in stock, and I had to call them, but the price was good.

Just about an hour ago i received my coilovers. They are brand new in the box and everything seems to be in perfect order. I received an E-mail from intense saying they were shipped and would arrive shortly. I am extremely happy now that i have them. I want to thank Intense Power, the mods on the forum, and everyone else that gave me important info during the past month. I appreciate it. now onto the pix :D

Well, this thread at least calmed my nerves about being scammed, my order was placed april 27th, after no word for weeks, I finally emailed them and was told they were out of stock, and they would be back in stock within 4 weeks, and I would have them early june. Well its now June 14th and still no word on them. :ohno:

I fully understand things go out of stock, and that they are in high demand, but it seems like having a availability notice on the site would be very helpful to customers, i've now had to sit out the first two autocross races of the season, and possibly a third if they don't make it by July, and that to me is pretty devastating considering the money and time I have put into the car.

Sadly I couldn't afford to take the 25% hit to get my money back and buy something else, so I'm just stuck here, sitting on my hands and praying they do eventually come through.

A restocking fee for an item they don't have in stock lol. You can call your payment source and file a claim.

I said much of the same statement to them, to which I got some nasty words in reply, but basically they claim they used that money to get the item back in stock from stance.

I would be fine with that policy, IF and only IF they had told me they were out of stock, before the 7 day "grace" period on returns, before they start charging a fee. :frown:

Call your credit card company and make a item not received complaint.

I paid with a debit card, I suppose I could file a complaint through the bank?

Dude, your going to have to wait. As you can see a few of us waited 6 months. This is stance's fault, not intense power. While I do agree its dumb to charge 25%(seriously?? that's 250 bucks!), and they SHOULD have posted something by now stating the problem, but they can't help that stance isn't sending enough coilovers. Just be patient man. Stance is shooting themselves in the foot with this and they'll realize it soon enough

6 Months I just cant do, thats 1200+$ sitting out of my bank account with nothing to show for it. That's something I just can not handle. If they aren't here by july, i'm getting my money back one way or another and switching to KTS.

6 month lead time is unacceptable without given notice, and charging a 25% "pound me in the a**" restocking fee.

Stance may be behind on production yes, but if their vendors had stock there would be no 6 month wait.

I plan on ordereing the stance lxs for an s14 within a month. I now know who I will not be buying them from. I would rather pay more money and get great service then get them cheap and no service.

Yes, learn from our mistakes, order in order of reputability first, price second.

It's clear these guys aren't standing behind their customers, they are standing behind their wallets.

I ordered a set of coilovers from Intense on March 26, 2009 and they took over 3 months to get to my house. I wasn't bothered by the wait time because I was notified ahead of time.

Although I was notified of the wait time. Now, my only issue is this:
My invoice says one date when I actually received them about 3-4 months later.
I actually just had a dampening knob "break??" on me and now I can't adjust the coilover I have on the passenger rear.

I filed notification with Stance but I have a feeling because of the shipping delays in coordination with my invoice stance will find some way to screw me out of repairing or replacing my coilover.

So, just a friendly warning guys. Nothing wrong with IntensePower, but if I get screwed over because of the shipping delay I will be forwarding this thread to Stance and a few other places and shipping out coilovers on time and restocking fees will be the least of IntensePower's concern.

As I said before, this wasn't intense's fault. EVERY vendor that didn't already have a nice supply of them was having the same problem. This was all cause to Stance. After the first month, I called THEM, not intense power, and they're the ones that just dragged me along, saying it would be 2 more weeks, then another month, then it was " hopefully on the next container". There was nothing intense power could do to get me my coilovers faster

They could stop charging people the 25% restocking fee...

They could respond to calls and emails. They could be proactive and call or email you to tell you they were going to be late rather than try and respond to everyone else when they are calling. The restock is a joke. 25% seriously on something that they should have in stock anyway. It isn't like they shipped to you and you are shipping them back. They can't restock something that wasn't in stock lol. Defend all you want 6 months is rediculous and they should be emailing weekly at the minimum to give an update. I am patient if they would tell me ahead it would be 6 months I would either not order or I wouldn't b**** because it took that long.

At this point I have inquired the bank about a refund on grounds of failure to deliver product, but there is conditions and a time limit on that process, :ohno: , Intense no longer responds to my emails or answers my calls, so there was basically no other option.

I hope it works out, but intense if you are reading this, you could have prevented this whole ordeal, by simply contacting me. Your failure to communicate with your customers is as unacceptable as your clearly profit-not-customer based policies.
