Hey guys, new here so bare with me. I own a 2008 altima couple 3.5 and I am looking to lower it. I'm looking for my best option for a good ride with about a 1-1.5 inch drop. Not looking to go super low so range shouldn't be an issue. Looking for a comfortable ride with a nice looking stance. I've only really looked at tein basis, But not sure what to get. I want to stay in like 600-800 dollar range. I want coilovers so i can adjust in the winter, so just lowering springs isnt an option. Thanks.

p.s. Not sure how to insert a picture or I would.

Also if im lowering only an inch or two should i consider camber kits? If so which should i be looking for? Camber bolts? Control arms? Provides links if necessary. Thanks guys.

Teins are pretty comfy but they're out of your price range. I would go with BC Racing, D2 or Megan racing.

You shouldn't need camber arms with that much of a drop, but it's always recommended if you want perfect alignment. Examples: SPC Camber arms.

I found tein street basis coilovers for 700 bucks? The megans i looked up seemed to be like 1800. I guess i was looking at the wrong stuff. I will check out BC and D2 though. Thank you for your reply. And if you have any time any links would be appreciated!

If you only want to lower 1-1.5 inch why not just get springs? it will be well within your price range and its not low enough to really effect winter driving... i live in Canada and we get a ton of snow where i live and i have no problems in the winter.

You really get what you pay for when it comes to coilovers. Before you make your purchase --- I suggest you ask a lot of questions and do some research on the particular brand you are considering. You should also understand the CONS and PROS of having coilovers too. :chuckle:

As the other dude suggested....with your budget, you may want to keep it simple and just stick with lowering springs like Eibachs that shouldn't put to much strain on your factory dampers. :yesnod
