22's are staying on, thanksDoN_BLaZe34 wrote:You're keeping the 22's on there? I think you'll be fine.
Thanks, was worried about scrapping, just trying to get rid some more tire gapDebonair wrote:Check your clearance entering the driveway at the curb, and at the peak. This will tell you how low you can go. From the looks of the driveway picture above and the pictures of your car it looks like you have room to go lower to me.
Yeah!!, show us some pictures bruh? lolparkstr8r wrote:I just did Tanabes on my new Q70S...it's a perfect drop for the crappy Los Angeles roads we have...

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the shop charge you for the install? thanksparkstr8r wrote:It is just now settled...so I'll get some pics up in a day or so. I am getting some wierd suspension noises now...wondering if when they installed them they wrapped the springs in the rubber "bushing". I noticed the stocks had some very thin rubber "tape" around part of the spring.
O.k. thanks, why did you have to get spacers? from what I've been reading so far haven't heard anybody doing that, just curious that's all. I know every place is different and just wanted to get an idea about the price.parkstr8r wrote:I think it was about 200...but they also put on spacers at the same time.
I don't think I will need spacers, I didn't when I put the 22's on. I'm guessing this will be the same as springs but will be able to adjust (coilovers) and go low to take away some of the tire gap space. Correct me if I'm wrong?parkstr8r wrote:I put 20mm on the rear and 15 mm on front - the bolt replacement kind - to make the stance square. The oem 20's were a little too inset for my taste.
The spacers push the wheels out, away from the car for one or both possible reasons; appearance or clearance. In this case its to close the gap from the side wall of the tire to the fender. The coilovers on the other hand bring the car down closing the visible gap from the top of the tire to the fender, which also adds camber.stm37s wrote:I don't think I will need spacers, I didn't when I put the 22's on. DoN_BLaZe34 wrote:To elaborate on what Deb posted (great info BTW) whether or not you need spacers will depend on the offset of your 22's as well as how low you go. If your wheels sit perfectly flush now but you want to go lower with the coils, then there is a good chance you're going to need spacers. Your best bet is to get the coils installed first then see if you like how your 22's look on the car with the desired ride height.
Welcome to the site. What model are they for specifically? How many miles? Price? Location? Pictures? Thanks.JManiphone wrote:Would you be interested in used BC coilovers? New to the website, not sure how to PM
