It depends on how bad the roads are in your area.

My favorite are the Tein SuperDrift coilovers.

Powered by Max would be next in the list.

Both of these coilovers are 10/8 spring rates which is probably as aggressive as you would want to go on the street. The Tein's are a bit more forgiving because of their built in helper springs.

The cheapest i would ever recommend would be the Megan Streets. Those are 8/6 spring rates.

The old information is still accurate. The coilovers you get completely depend upon what you can afford. I gave driven/drifted on SUPER cheap coilovers, and nice ones. I prefer Stance, like MManerd said. They are high quality and great for daily or drifting. They also have a great range of adjustment. Some coilovers don't go as low as others.

My first set of coilovers were NEX. They are really s***, but they do the job. They lowered my car and gave me a stiff suspension. They are SUPER uncomfortable for daily, but work fine at the track.

Many drifters go with Megan because they are cheap and effective. I have drifted and driven on them and think they are better than NEX, but still just ok.

I know people who go cheap with Godspeed. I haven't used them but they didn't mind them.

Stance are still my favorite. They are the best bang for buck. They are not bad for daily, and they are great at the track. Id order them from Touge Factory because they make them.

There are better coilovers out there than that, but the price just keeps going up.

If you have the funds, I would say go Fortune Auto 500's. High quality coilovers, great customer service, and you can rebuild them if anything happens. My friend has them on his hatch and loves them.

What's your budget?

Get inverted monotube type coilovers. They ride feel is better in my opinion. Stance, KTS, Dmax (d1-spec) just to name a few entry level coilovers.
