I have HKS Hipermax Drifts and they are knocking bad, just put them on today. The fronts are pretty bad, only over bigger bumps though.

Im wondering if lowering the stiffness will take care of it, but Ive never dealt with coilies, so I was wondering if there were any second opinions from here. They are set at I believe 3 clicks from the hardest setting (3 out of 12), and are sittin pretty low.

Any chance the damper is bottoming out?

it's probably not your coilover clunking then. I know when I put mine in, everything was making noise, my tie rod ends, my steering rack, my tein t/c rods, and even the upper pillowball were making noise. or it could be that you're rubbing on something. take your wheel off and look for rubmarks.my components stopped clunking after a week or so. I really should start replacing stuff though.

Ive run both the stock steelies with 195/60-15's on them and a set of 205/45-17's, not sure of the offset though. Both had the same problems
