coilover with damper help!!!!!!!!!

in the vert it has that big metal support what did you do to fit the damper knob.. did you cut it bend it and how?

haha. it sucked. pulled out the back seat, and the rear seatbelts for room.

i wacked it from the back/trunk with a hammer.

then i tride to nip it with some crazy hardcore tin snips (i was once i tin knocker by trade)

then i jimmied some vice grips in there and pulled on it towards the front of the car till i had room.

i took a grinder and cut out an inch or so at a 45º angle (from the trunk side) then primered it to prevent rust.

i just did it... i got my air hammer and cut a 1x2 inch section out..
