I got my coilovers pre-assembled and since theyre not installed yet, i have time to play with them. With the unit fully extended, the spring can slide about 1-2mm back and forth on the lower spring perch. Will this be fine when I install them? Or should I raise the perch(increase pre-load). I'm new to coilovers btw.

Preload the spring a little give it a few turns to put some pressure on it then go from there. I start out at a few turns then they start to snug up.

I did one turn. I guess it could use a little more. Do you know the torque specs for the top mount nut?
