Hey everyone, okay i've been searching forums and websites for some time now for help with coilovers but everything was years old. I made some calls and looks like the brand i wanted D2 isn't carried by shops in Toronto.

What do you all suggest for coilovers and how are they working for you. Right now im looking between BC racing and Megan, but I saw theres a entire topic on the problems with BC Racing coilovers so should i stay away from them? Any input will be helpful im looking to purchase some next week. Price isn't to much of a concern, mostly looking for quality

I'm brand new to this forum but I had the exact same questions and concerns you did a few months ago. I had my Megan coilovers sitting for a year because I wasn't sure and wanted to do more research but I stuck with the Megan's. I've heard great things about bc but also I've seen reoccurring Issues posted like squeaking/popcorn noises. I put my Megan's on because I wanted to keep comfortable ride which is what I've heard Megan's are known for and I completely agree I'm still running stock tire size but the difference in ride quality is minimal still a smooth ride . Currently I'm dropped 2.5" all the way around with no gap in the rear and 1.5-2 finger gap in the front and the handling difference is better then expected me and my buddy both drove the car and were blown away. we were driving the other day and he said the ride was so smooth he forgot the car was even lowered untilll we came up to some train tracks so IMO MEGAN'S FTW :mike

For what it's worth - I'm about to pull the trigger on the Tein Street Advance coilovers. Based on my research, they provide a great ride and are good quality, but don't go as low as some of the other coilovers mentioned on here (which is fine in my case as I'm not looking to absolutely slam my coupe :dblthumb: ).

Let me know how you like those. I have the Tein Street Basis. And yeah, I think the BCs have more of a drop.
