I plan on slamming my vert this winter when i do the suspension and stuff. What coilovers can go super low at a decent price? I know megans can't go as low as I want and neither can godspeed, but i'm not looking that cheap. I'm looking for the 1200 range? If not a little more or less?

Also I'm not sure how to adjust the settings and such on coilovers, is there anything around the internet I can learn about all that nonsense? lol Thank youu

Fortune Auto, Stance, PBM.

Adjusting them is common sense. However most products do come with manuals. Reading FTW.

Actually my car is track only? And I won't be doing that. I wanna pick up some pbm I'm hoping to buy them but i need to buy them before the end of december or they probably won't have them for sale next year.

I just wanna see what other brands will go loow.

Like already stated, Stance and PBM.Don't know much about fortune auto but they look similar to PBM.KTS ultra lows too but they're kinda out of your price range. and for the hell of it, DG-5 also. and Zeal.

Bc the difference between the gr+ and the pro's is the addition of a helper spring in the rear. You'll be ditching them if you want to go "low".So why pay the extra $100 for them?

People will debate the actual functions of helper springs, and then again, it is only $100 more but you really don't need them

Go PBM. Their parts are of VERY good quality from what I've seen. And they go very low if that's what you're into.

Oh, thats s***ty, I wanna go low, so i won't get them thank you for clarifying that.

and I wanna get pbm. But I emailed them about it and they said if I don't pre order them before the end of december I probably won't get a set, with christmas coming I don't know if I'll make the dead line. So i'm thinking of other brands now wile i'm ahead.

pbm is great.. i have their s13 set and they feel great at soft->hard settings. have lots of adjustability and for super low ride height you can eventually remove collars. but their coils are beefy and cheap!~1070 shipped (for me, midwest area) with tie rod spacers. so 1060 without. great custermer service too. i was completely satisfied and you should go for these or DMAX coils they are great coils for your range.

yeah. dmax has been out way longer than pbm iirc (based on overseas establishment period) so theyre a more reputable company but the one thing that turned me away from them was the dampening adjustment knobs. the fronts are on the bottom and the rears are on the top. i would rather not reach around a low/dirty/whatever tire and car to adjust the dampening on the front coils. also pbm's are more oriented toward going super low while being super stiff. dmax's..im not sure about their lowness capabilititesso think about the design and placement of the coils before you buy them. if its a track car are you gonna be fine with making on the fly adjustments under the front of the car or just access the dampening through the engine bay? either way you can go through zilvia for pbm's or dmax's...sometimes they have cheap price deals going on...not that nico isnt nice(idk if they offer this on this forum too, thats why i mention zilvia)

Yeah, Stances are like that too though.... "Monotube"

There was a review thread on zilvia about Dmax coils. Everyone with them liked them. They went pretty low. Someone had a picture of their car showing how low they went w/o removing collars. looked pretty similar to PBMs.

Plus DMAX coils have those slits on the bottom bracket for more - camber.
