Anyone here have coilovers? Did you get any knocking or fitment issues when you had them in? I just did mine today, and the fronts are either too stiff or too low, cuz there is a weird rubbing/knocking sound when I hit bumps, almost like the shock bottoming out. Imma have to pull them tomorrow and check it out, which sux, but at least they are quick (all four took me like 45 minutes).

im gonna take a stab at spring to high?

if the case, you adjusted your spring to high so the dampener isnt even being used. thus when u hit a bump the dampener hits the top thing...... sorry lil tired; hard to explain

but if that was the case, youd hear it alot and it would be real easy to push down on the car, since the dampener isn't working.

naw, if anything the spring is too low, its almost at the bottom of the perch. I left it like that because they were on a 240 before mine and were already set up.

thats kinda what is making me worry, cuz they worked fine for his car.

I cant push them down, too stiff. Imma try to lighten up the dampening and see if that helps with the noises.

Are you sure it's the shocks making the weird sounds? You sure you're not bottoming out the whole car? My DP or IC hits if I'm not too carefull. Also could your wheels be rubbing or the inside of your tires rubbing on the shocks? Might need to get new wheels with different specs if that was the case.

you need to insure there set up for your car. set spring tension then, set the car height(ride ) to where you want it to be. Get it corner balanced if possible....
