This is what doesn't make sense. The coilovers are bottom mount adjustable so the pistons would be moving the same no matter the ride height. The addition of the helper spring enables the piston to compress and bound smoothly before compressing the actual main spring.motoman399 wrote:optimal operating range when the car is really low.
