is there only two of them, like one for each coilover? Or two for each coilover? same diameter all the way around? They look like they are stepped? I'm thinkin some kind ok spacer, but have truely no idea why, like a solid bushing.

You have never heard of them because you drive a pos stock s13 and you are 14 years old. Thanks for your help hater.

there is one for each rear coilover and they are a conical counter bore on one side.

Tangerine_sky: I moved your thread into the suspensions forum so that they can get better technical responses, as opposed to the type of responses you'd get in 240sx general.

Aragostas eh?

nice!

I haven't heard anything but nice reviews on them... one of the greater brand coilovers available.

As far as that black ring... I'm assuming its some kind of spacer that supposed to attach when you bolt on the rear knuckles?

I mean, I have no experience with Aragostas, but I know my rear HKS coilovers have one side of one of my rear coilovers knuckle attachment spaced out, and the other side not.

Hopefully I'm not confusing you....

but for example, check out the pic of the rears on these Stances, and how one end protrudes out more than the other end

... at least that's my guess.

thanks for your helpful response adrians_s13. So I assume the side that is spaced would be the side that butts up against the rear knuckle. Is that how your HKS coilovers are spaced?

umm.. I can't tell you right off the top of my head. I think so... lol.

Those expensive *** coilovers didn't at least come with instructions or pictures? haha

which ever way you choose, just make sure you don't have any clearance issues. I've seen some coilovers where they aren't even spaced.

well they came with instructions but they are in japanese, and the pictures are small and are only applicable if you can read the instructions that go along with them so that is why I had to ask about it. I thought it was a simple question but obviously not on this forum.

Sorry I mispoke but that's no reason for you to start being a flaming d!ck. And since when are JIC FLT-TAR's cheap ***? They seem to be doing better than your uber JDM aragosta things.

Good luck though, I hope you get them fixed.

when you are calling aragostas cheap there is sufficient reason to talk ****. And I am sorry to say but JIC's aren't that great JDM fanboy. Do some research before you post some nonsense and before you buy.

Clean up your act Tangerine... you come on here immediately bashing on others and you downplay this forum. Theres no need for your hostility. This is a general Nissan forum, not the Aragosta helpline for god's sake.

I didn't bash anyone before they bashed me. I downplayed the forum because of the immature, uninformed and rude comments I got. I was not hostile. If not for helping people, then what is a forum for. thanks for your help adrians

no worries man. I try to be fair to everyone. The immature/rude comments will most always come from Gen 240sx... what do you expect dude... theres a lot of younger members that float around on that forum, which is kinda why I recommend posting technical questions in the appropriate forums.

Oh also, I'm gonna get under my car today because I have to change my rear axles... I'll check for you about which side the spacer is supposed to be... but I'm pretty sure its facing the knuckle, I mean, it would only make sense to, y'know?

oh and after you install them, I'd really be interested in your impressions of them (I'm sure others would too). If you write up a detailed thread with pics and info, I'll see what I can do to make it an article or something.
